I really tried to get them out, but I only got one to come out right. I used the vegetable oil I promise. I really think my mold thing was just not made right. I had issues with removal of them all except the paper.

Paper
I lined the inside of my cast with another layer plaster to smooth it out a bit. The paper came out a lot better !
I Tried Sugar
I only had two that came out easily. They looked really cool in the sugar and I swirled in some food coloring while it was still gooey. They kinda look like gems. My larger pieces got stuck and too brittle so they broke quite a bit when I tried to get them loose
WIP cast
I didn’t mix enough plaster up so I’m going to add a little more tomorrow after it has dried.
